From CS
"I've trained with Gail Booth since November 2002 and benefitted from it in numerous ways.
Together, we've worked both on improving my general level of fitness and towards specific goals, such as upcoming ski trips or planned events. Gail has trained me through my changing needs during pregnancy and motivated me to follow advice on re-gaining my pre-pregnancy strength and tone. We've worked around occasional injuries when Gail's detailed knowledge of the human muscular structure has been invaluable.
During the time I've trained with Gail, my attitude to fitness and sport has changed completely - going from an easily defeated person who would steer away from a challenge involving physical determination or endurance, to someone who understands that sensible preparation is the key to success and who has completed 2 Moonwalks (overnight marathon speedwalks) and the London to Brighton bike ride (without dismounting up the famous Ditchling Beacon) in times I am really proud of.
Gail has wholeheartedly supported me in my desire to lose weight - offering sensbile long term dietary strategies and nutritional advice. I now eat breakfast almost every day, even if only a coffee & a banana, and no longer train on an empty stomach!
I have no hesitation in recommending Gail as a personal trainer - she is truly professional, conscientious in all aspects of her work, flexible wherever possible and very likeable too. I've had more fun getting fit than I could have thought possible."
From Jan
"Gail has been my personal trainer for the past 7 years. We work together twice a week in the privacy of my own home. Gail is a lively friendly person who is extremely reliable and always punctual. She makes the effort to find new and different approaches to training and is flexible depending on my mood, energy level and health. However she will push me to go beyond my usual routine and I am constantly surprised by what I can do. In the past I have joined numerous gyms and attended once or twice and been put off by the competitive and pressurised environment. I really enjoy working with Gail and have seen an improvement in my posture, am less puffed out when running for a bus and able to get up without help on the ski slope. I look forward to her sessions, we have a laugh and she makes exercising fun for me."
